About Us

MUNA Social Services was founded in 2020 as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic, providing essential supplies like groceries and over-the-counter medication to households in quarantine. Since then, we have developed into a comprehensive network of services, including food pantries and educational programs. Currently, we operate 19 food pantries in New York, New Jersey, and Delaware, serving over half a million people annually. Along with the food pantries, MUNA Social Services offers various educational programs, such as an afterschool program for K–12 students, ESL classes, introductory computer courses and advanced computer courses, and financial literacy seminars. MUNA's mission is to continue expanding its services and making a positive impact in the communities it serves.
